Assessment Methodology

First: Assessment Methodology in Sharjah Economic Excellence Award – Gold Category

• The points were distributed according to eight standards where each standard is distributed in specific percentage as explained in the following table:

1. The submitted applications shall be studied to check the extent it conforms to general conditions. The nominee shall be notified for once only if it is non-conforming to conditions.

 

2. Standards are measures and assessed with one or more of the following methods:
   1. Supporting documents.
   2. Work procedures.
   3. Minutes of meeting.
   4. Internal reports.
   5. Reports of employees. 

  

3. The members of Assessment Committee shall nominate the best models on the results of documentary assessment to make the Site Visit and their assessment.

 

4. The members of the Assessment Committee shall compare the results of assessment in the Site Visit with the results of documentary assessment to nominate and determine only one winner.

 

5. The Gold Category winning establishment shall have more than 80% as assessment score.

Second: Assessment Methodology in Sharjah Economic Excellence Award –Medium & Small Firms

1. The points were distributed according to eight standards where each standard is distributed in specific percentage as explained in the following table:

 

 

 

2. The submitted applications shall be studied to check the extent it conforms to general conditions. The nominee shall be notified for once only if it is non-conforming to conditions.

 

3. Standards are measures and assessed with one or more of the following methods:

Supporting documents.

Work procedures.

Minutes of meeting.

Internal reports.

Reports of employees. 

 

4. The members of Assessment Committee shall nominate the best models on the results of documentary assessment to make the Site Visit and their assessment.

 

5. The members of the Assessment Committee shall compare the results of assessment in the Site Visit with the results of documentary assessment to nominate and determine only one winner.

 

6. The Large Firm Category winning Firm shall get more than 70% as assessment degree while Medium & Small Category Winner should get more than 65%.

 

Third Assessment Methodology in Sharjah Economic Excellence Award – Business Pioneers Category

1. The points were distributed according to six standards where each standard is distributed in specific percentage as explained in the following table:

 

 

2. The submitted applications shall be studied to check the extent it conforms to general conditions. The nominee shall be notified for once only if it is non-conforming to conditions.
