Sharjah Economic Excellence Award within the efforts exerted by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry comes as one of the supportive means to encourage the local private sector practice its investment activities and business as per systems and means of total quality and in a manner suiting the application of best practices of excellence and creativity that achieve clear objects serving the success of effective partnership strategy between the private and the governmental sector and achieving the ambitions of this partnership in favor of both sectors.
The Sharjah Economic Excellence Award enjoys honorable patronage from His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qassimi Crown Prince & Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. This has enhanced the means of support and backing to success its previous editions. Moreover it has contributed in developing its content and varying its categories and facilities to attract private investment establishments of various activities and fields.
Based on this the award’s board of chancellors is keen to set and follow up the execution of plans and development programs in cooperation with international and regional organizations and seeking support of specialized consultants in the preparation and application of a unique and ideal model for the award depending on the total quality values and standards applied internationally and suiting the nature and capabilities of the business sector environment from which private investment projects emerge in UAE in general and Sharjah in particular.
The chamber, due to the concern given by Sharjah to develop and enhance the role of the private sector and its positive contributions, through the award’s board of chancellors calls its members to participate in the editions of the award and to nominate for the award as an opportunity to confirm their ability and readiness to show the features of their success in application of the best work practices according to total quality criteria.
